Has anyone consistently bought items from Kristine's collection and noted any change in customer service level?
I recently bought a maxi dress from their sale. When I received the item, the length on the left is significantly shorter than the other side. So I emailed them to notify them, to which they requested for more information. So I took a picture of the dress laid flat (the difference in length is obvious) and took a measuring tape to measure the difference. I saw 10 and I didn't think much and assumed it's 10" (which was my mistake cuz I should have seen CLEARLY) whether it's inches or in CM. So I informed them it's 10" and provided a picture, to which they said the picture is not necessary since 10" will be super obvious anyway. I've requested for refund instead of store refunds as that is my usual preference.
I posted the item back and they received it today. They emailed me saying they cannot find the defect. Here's the email from them:
"Can I confirm that you find it a defective piece and not because it not fitting. It's disputable when you mentioned the difference is at least 2 inches and 10 inches. We really do not mind you returning it when found not fitting for a store credit (Sales items are not refundable) but not claiming such a big defect that couldn't be found. Please do enlighten us where is the defect."
Hello?! I provided a clear picture and you are here trying to insinuate I'm trying to make a false claim here just to cheat you of the refund?! I replied them that I may have not seen the measuring tape clearly but 10cm is still quite obvious right. I have enough integrity to not make such false claims just to get some refund! And to my email they replied me:
"You do not need to be overly reacted to the email as I am stating the fact that was provided by you. There is clearly miscommunication, you may refer to the email yourself when you have the time. We do not see a defect on this piece however we will give the benefit of doubt and refund you $1.50 + $13.90."
Oh great. I am sure I do write my emails properly and they are telling me this kind of crap. And thanks for giving me the benefit of doubt even though you sound super insincere and unwilling about it. Even though the refund amount is not even the same as what I have paid, but I'll give up on this kind of customer service and I probably will get told off that I should be thankful they are willing to do a refund. Thanks but no thanks, I will stay away from this blogshop forever.
