It's been a while- I haven't had much time to take photos and review since school started :( But this lovely came in the mailbox today so I thought I'd share about it!
Runway Bandits Cedar Wide-Shoulder Dress (White, M)
I absolutely love the boatneck fit-and-flare silhouette and own a couple of dresses in this cut, so I had to cart this out when I saw it. I'm a 16.5" ptp and 13-13.5" waist, so the measurements of this dress fit me perfectly. No worries about restrictive sleeves either as the armhole is cut generously enough! The colour is off-white, a little bit creamish. I didn't quite like the material at first (it's a bit rough), but it makes the dress quite heavy and non-sheer, so I can't fault that.
Issues: firstly, there's only a side zip, which makes getting in and out quite a struggle if the measurements are snug for you. I would've preferred a back zip. Secondly- and more importantly!- I discovered small stains on the skirt when I took it out of the parcel. The front has two small blue ink-like stains (pictured below), and the back has a very small brown stain. I emailed Runway Bandits immediately about this, around 3PM, and to their credit they replied promptly at 5.30PM.
I asked if I would still be eligible for an exchange if I tried washing it first, because imo it doesn't make sense to go to the hassle of sending it back when the stains might be washable. They said sure and gave me 5 working days to get back to them. Upon receipt of their email I went to handwash the dress with stain-remover, but unfortunately the stains can't come out :( I haven't decided if I should just keep the dress, though, as the swishiness of the skirt makes the stains quite hard to spot. Just wanted to highlight their excellent CS!
In other news, I also bought the Runway Bandits Castello Boxy Top (rough material, but otherwise nice basic) and Love and Bravery Kikki Dotted Sweetheart Dress (beautiful cut but thick material- I think the wine colour is on sale now!). If anyone wants a full review, let me know!
