AFA high rise top in blue (M), TTR Lola slit skirt in black florals (L)

I dont usually order from AFA due to their slow service, plus they are having sales period now. But when I saw this top, I really wanted to get it. With high-neck tops rising on the fad now, this top is a must-get for me. I love the ribbed material and also the back zipper! A huge plus for me is the silky inner lining which is really very comfortable, adding to the luxe factor! I personally feel it's rather worth it!!

I bought this one day before the 20% sales. Wanted to wait till the clock strikes 12am but realized it was the last piece they had left so i quickly checked out HEHEHE typical kiasu Singaporean. They are having free normal/registered postage so i thought it wasnt really that bad a deal! Then.........they restocked this in both sizes S and M, damn it HAHA i feel a little cheated now.

Speaking of AFA's CS, they caught me by surprise (a pleasant one) this time round. My order was shipped and updated with tracking number 1 day after i made payment, and i received it today (2 days after payment made). Seems like their CS is improving and ill definitely buy again :)

As for the skirt, I was a day late for the launch so only Black Florals was left. Contemplated as this prints is quite common, intoxiquette had launched a dress in this prints and wonderstellar had launched a tshirt in this exact same prints as well. Didnt want to wait for the BO so i carted out eventually. Sad to say, this is my first disappointing purchase from TTR. :(
The material is thin, and seamless underwear is a must. The thin and hugging material/cutting makes it tummy-unfriendly, so i dont think i'd wear it out much since i wont dare to eat much in this skirt. I placed my hand underneath the layer of the fabric and put the skirt against strong sunlight - i could see the outline of my fingers. Furthermore, this is black hence i suppose the white piece is much more sheer. There is no inner lining at all.

Or maybe i was too impressed by the material of the Lauren pelmet skirt that i had set higher expectations for TTR's standards, which this skirt failed to match. HAHA idk.... Having purchased from TTR for so many times (i think i own more than 20-30 pieces of their clothings), I dont think i've ever felt so disappointed before. But for the price of $28 mailed, I dont think it's a worthy buy. Perhaps that's why there are so many resellers for this skirt right now. If you really want this skirt, perhaps you can check out their facebook forum page for resellers at a lower price before joining the backorder!
