This skirt from Qoo10 (user: shopjumpingaround) got me many compliments at work today. Its material gives it a very luxe look and the pleats are such that the skirt flares out in every possible direction. Poofy, glossy and Christmas-y are ways I'd describe this piece. It is best worn with something figure hugging because there's just so much material at the bottom already. I wore it with ballet flats today and it was not overwhelming me nor making me look short. I guess wearing it high-waisted is the trick. Size wise, this is the smallest but is still worn with a lot of allowance on me. I'd to keep pulling it up and had my tummy forced out to have it sit well. This is one such rare instance a tummy is useful.

I'll be selling this piece!
Do refer to @shopshers for price and ordering details.

Love Bonito's COVET Juliette Dress is very pretty and eye-catching in terms of colour. I'm not going to say much because I've already reviewed this piece in Ivory in my last post. I'm just posting a picture of it to show how it looks, worn. Sadly, I'll have to return this because the zipper is dysfunctional. Mehhh.

Love Bonito's Shaianne Skirt is one of those I'm not satisfied with because I move around a lot, and I'm not the kind to take dainty little steps. This piece folds horizontally in little ridges across my body with every step, and the moment I sit, it forms ugly bulges horizontally. It is even worse when I squat or bend to get something. Basically, neoprene is a terrible material for skirts. When first put on and fitted nicely, it is a very pretty piece. The eggplant colour is also major <3<3<3, but the form does not stay as hoped unless you hop like a zombie, or stay still like a scarecrow. I'm so upset with myself that I let this piece sit in my wardrobe for too long and now I can't return it!

Love Bonito's Jurique Neoprene Dress is so pretty in Lime. It is vibrant and has a gorgeous cut and fit. The thing is, XS is so figure hugging that I think one needs it to be paired with a full cup bra. You'd need a bra to cover your boobs fully and one that does not have extra lace or embellishments. That is quite a problem for me because I'm obsessed with lace, and about 90% of my bras are laced. Plus, I'm not a fan of full cup bras. So, erm... ideas, anyone? I'm really excited to wear this one out though, and I think I might keep it for an event. Neoprene is great for a skater skirted dress like this. Big no-no to pencil neoprene skirt from now on!

AforArcade's Wide Angle Pintucked Dress is a simple basic. I love the crepe-like material, which probably is a signal of need for low-iron heat. Even though I'm wearing size S (the smallest), it is very loose on me. I doubt I'll send these pieces for alteration though. I'll keep them for my lazy days, days I need to look effortlessly chic and can't be bothered to match pieces or feel constricted in tight-hugging numbers. The design is easy to wear, has a beautiful neckline that compliments my favourite feature - collarbones. The dresses can be worn with bra straps, but requires the wearer to push the bra straps to the edge of the shoulder. So ideally, it should be worn with a strapless bra. V-shaped necklines are uncommon, so this is something I really fancy.

Smooch's Curved Hem Skirt in Botanica is made of superbly thick material. It has very gorgeous tropical prints, but sadly is insanely loose on me. I'll also be selling this piece on @shopshers!
