Hello! Im back for another review again! :)
Smooch the label CURVED HEM SKIRT IN BOTANICA in S
I was attracted to this skirt from the Previews on their Facebook page.
I ordered via Normal mail and paid on Sunday Night via paypal and it was automatically verified. Afterwards, i emailed them again hoping to change my mode of postage to Reg post as i understand the recent inefficiency by Singpost.
However, they didn't reply me till Monday Noon and told me they have already dispatched my item via Normal mail.
Thankfully and very efficiently, my parcel from Smooch arrived on Wednesday! :D
It was my first time buying from Smooch and did not know what to expect but i was in for a very pleasure purchase. :)
The material of the skirt is really fabulous and sturdy. I think its a combination of quality polyester and some other fabric. It is not sheer at all and the curved hem cuts in nicely. The prints and colours are also accurate as per my pictures and are very vibrant. Although there were a few loose threads, but not a problem as it could be easily cut off. Overall, the material, design and cutting wowed me in all aspects and it is worth the price tag of $37.
It fits me with some allowance in the waist and hips. It sits very comfortably on my hips too. A thing to note is that the material is not stretchy so do follow the measurements and if you are in btw sizes, i think you should size down.
However, i think it is a bit too mature and formal for my liking and will not have the chance to wear it for now.
Will be selling this piece at $37 with meetups at West area / $38 mailed BNWT. PENDING :)
