Yay finally got my loot today from the courier company! :D this time they only took one working day so its awesome!!!
Joann Top in Maroon, Size L
Yay, managed to get this sold out piece and I really love the colour!!! The material is structured and thick, and its textured (has lines all over) It is also slightly stretchy at the waist area which is good for heavy meal times! However, I can't wear a normal bra with this. I had to hide my normal bra straps into top during photo taking. Also, my arms are really broad so this kind of design really emphasized that and my pit fats :( Overall, still loving this top! :D
Marielle Maxi Skirt in Navy, Size L
Another sold out piece in my size!!!! Sorry, the colour is much more vibrant in real life! The length measurements are similar to Santiago skirt on the website but upon wearing it, this skirt's length seemed shorter and much better for me. Material is shiny and smooth! Really flowy! Although I think its slightly overpriced at $35 :/ But I'm glad I got it in this colour as it is much more versatile! :)
Sayre Sweater, Black size L
Well, you wouldn't believe it but this top isn't mine! My bf's mum ordered it! Hahaha we are of similar sizes so she took a great liking in the clothes I wear and now we shop together on LB almost weekly. Oh dear~ lol! Its made of good quality knit material and I think it will provide some warmth in these cool days. Also, the motif prints are gorgeous! Gives off a rusty, edgey feeling because the prints has some brown/yellow in it.
Weshire T-Bar Wedges, size 39
Thought about getting this pair for 2-3 weeks before purchasing. Decided to get a silver pair as I've already bought the oxfords in gold. This fits me like a glove, so happy with this! Initially it hurts because of the pointed fronts but after a few tries and walks around the house, it is much more comfy! Colour is super reflective, perfect for the Christmas and the New Years! Also, the height is manageable for me at 3.75'
Lido Heels, size 39
Actually I do not know what has gotten into me to buy this pair. Probably my most expensive online purchase to date for an item. However, considering this is a designer item, its much more cheaper than getting a pair of heels from C&K. Also, I got sucked into buying it because I was deciding on getting Hudson Heels for a very long time too but did not purchase as my friend told me the straps are filmsy and uncomfortable etc. I think I was willing to spend the money because of the colour combination and the suede material! Love this colour combi (who would have thought of mixing these 3 strong colours together?) Oh and I wanted to get the Opera skirt but I couldn't get hold of it even after many hours of refreshing... Sigh
The fit for me is weird. As I have broad feet and ankles, the width and the strap area fits fine but the insole length is much looser. (oh well, big ankles and wide feet but short length... D:) I have ample spacing at the back of the heels. I find that I need to wear it inner (push my toes forward) to get a better grip on the heels if not I'd probably trip. Also, as the heels are very thin and slender, I find it really high and uncomfortable to walk for long hours. Probably good for a short dinner date only.
Btw, did anyone purchase a grab bag from LB at the Purple Parade last weekend? My bf's cousin bought it for me and it had 5 items in it. There's a beige straw beach bag which retails for about $30+ I think, a mint sheer chiffon top which is $23 (saw it in the sale section before but it has been taken down), a low-cut pink dress with ruffles which was stained black (!!!!) at the back, a long black midi skirt and a bohemian maxi dress which was not even my size because it was too tight for me!!! D: Oh well, I know this is for charity and I shouldn't be complaining but one of the items in it is badly stained and another one wasn't an L size. D:
