Rompers. Never too many.

I've been so hooked to rompers recently ever since I got my first AA romper. If anyone has recommendations for really awesome cutting rompers do do holler so I can increase my collection! :P

Went to Kissjane (Vivo) recently to see if I could make use of the ongoing 15% discount so here's a review of the 2 rompers (Yes, again haha) I tried. Have also included reviews of the highly-raved Topshop-inspired eyelet rompers from TVD & LB undercut!

TTR Harlem Romper in Blue Kaleidoscope (M)

I was really excited to see this on the racks coz it looked so good on Joyce's instagram.
The colour is not true to my photo, slightly darker than Joyce's photo.
Sizing wise, size M was big in all aspects, but the S size fitted me perfectly, albeit a little tummy-showing. Went to TTR's website to check the measurements & if I were to compare, I would say the sizing this batch might be bigger, because I'd never be able to fit into a 15" PT (that of Size S). I found the flare cutting a little weird. The flare starts out right from the waist line and just "flies out". Maybe I'm not used to such a cutting for my fat thighs haha.
As for the material, I believe it's still the same rayon polyester with inner lining which I found too thin.
Saw lilac & yellow on the racks too (: Priced $35.90 at KJ

TBI Yeri Romper in Black (S)

This printed romper caught my eye amongst the many printed items on TBI's rack. Tried it on & it fitted like a glove.
The white base was almost pure white to me. The prints were really very "porcelain-ish" & much prettier irl.
Material was really thick & although there was no inner lining, it was not sheer at all.
Reallyreally thinking of getting this! Should I? Priced $36 at KJ, $32 online.

TVD Talia Romper in Black (M)

After failed resistances to get this design, I succumbed & bought this from a re-seller, which led me to fall in love with the design and subsequently adding the LB pieces to my collection haha.
M was slightly loose all around for me, but I'm kindda afraid that S would be too fitting at the thighs. Lengthwise, I find it perfect for my height.
The romper can with inner lining so the cut-outs are not really visible, especially since it's black. I actually find the cut-outs much prettier than the LB counterparts, which I will be comparing with below. Very tempted to get this is white too, but afraid that it'll make me look bigger.

LB Rylee Romper in Beryl & Coral (S)

I couldn't decide which colour to get during the launch so I got both. Have since worn the Coral piece out & received many compliments for it.
The coral piece is as pretty & vibrant as LB's pictures! However, the beryl piece (like many reviewers have mentioned)is a little duller than the provided pictures.
S size was a little loose on the PTP & waist for me, but I believe XS might be too tight. Length-wise, I found it a very safe length for me though I wouldn't mind it being a little shorter. The waist sits a little low for me but I'm fine with it. Comes with a hook above the back zip but I find it quite useless as I simply couldn't hook it with my own efforts. The zip doesn't run down though so it isn't much of a problem.

Comparing both LB & TVD pieces:

I personally prefer TVD's rendition of this piece. The cutout are much prettier & well-made for the TVD piece, albeit the lining at the waist area. Material-wise, I find the smooth material of TVD's piece much more pleasant to wear as compared to the rough polyester of LB's. However, the length of LB's version would be more suitable for taller ladies! (:

If you're still thinking of getting a piece of this design, I would say go for TVD's if you don't mind the length! (:

I'm a UK6/8, 155CM

I really hope I haven't been too naggy in this review! (:
ps. looking to let go of LB's romper in Beryl.
