The Last Hurrah!.
I realized it's been forever and a day since I last updated this thing.
The past two weeks have been a whirlwind, they really have. Kevin came home July 6th and it's been crazy. It's been a long time since I had something to do every night. We drank a lot, went to some Romeros shows, went to a realllllly long Sox game, but still stayed in a few nights just to get to know each other.
We went on dates. He took me to Strange Cargo and bought me a "Pabst Girl" shirt and and a shirt with Cookie Monster on it. We layed around and watched The Simpsons almost every night. I complained once that I hated the CD player in my car, so he took me out to Best Buy and bought me an ipod, then took me to Bakers Square for dinner. We were going to go to Haunted Trails, but it started raining. I met his entire family, which was exciting, I met all of his friends, so much happened.
Last night was Tour De Pubs. It was one of the funnest nights I've had in awhile. The Romeros were awesome, The Textbook Committee dedicated "The Best Of Jill Hives" to me (and I even got up and sang, yes SANG with Little Dave). One of the most exciting parts of TDP was that I bought some raffle tickets and ended up winning an XM Satellite Radio...pretty awesome if you ask me. All with my boyfriend right there beside me.
Tonight, I'm going out to dinner with his family, then he has some surprise for me....
I'm really sad to see him go. I guess I was so excited about seeing him, that I forgot I would have to say goodbye. He leaves tomorrow, I'm going to miss him. A lot. I guess this is the real thing.
