1. Nice monochromatic coloring and I really like the texture/stock use in the background (or was that part of the original image?). It adds a lot to the overall composition. 2. It seems like you branched out in this icon and tried a few different techniques, and I think it paid off. The blocking and color-filled sections work really well in contrast with one another. 3. Such light, pretty pastel coloring. I also like that you used a far crop. All the negative space works really well in enhancing focus on the two people. 4. Great warm coloring and texture use. It looks like snow or sparkling lights. What a pretty effect. 5. Probably my favorite of all the icons you've posted this year. The crop is simple yet effective, and I love the lighting.
