Hello Inception!Cast. Look at Me. Now back to your puppet. Now back to me. sadly, your puppet isn't Cobb. which could be looked at as a good thing given that I've developed the instinctive habit (see inceptdressing) of taking the lead ( Read more... )

WHO ARE YOU: Michelle (mun lj is viridian, feel free to friend me if I don't know you already!

WHY INCEPTION: My first RP fandom was The Matrix. I think it's safe to say that I like the mindfucky canons. The entire cast is heartstoppingly gorgeous and I'm shallow. Um. IDK, fun times!

WHO DO YOU PLAY: Mal

WHAT POINT ARE THEY IN CANON: She's dead, Jim! Uh, you know, probably. She is also the real Mal, and therefore probably won't be stabbing or shooting anyone, but she does have a dramatic streak.

WHAT WOULD YOU LIKE TO ACCOMPLISH IN BAR: WELL. I've always left whether or not Mal is really really dead open to interpretation of other canonmates. Because... well, what if the whole movie from Cobb's POV was a dream and the whole thing was a setup to get him to wake up and go home? :O! So in an ideal world, when she leaves the Bar, I want the audience being not quite sure if she went home or just moved on. She is, however, bound, and I've pretty much planned to play her as though she were actually dead in her own canon. I think we are getting a ( ... )

At some point we need to have a crazy mindfuck-y OOM.

....ALSO.
oh man.

I almost WISH we could make it all Cobb's dream like for reals because that'd be REALLY FREAKIN' DRAMATIC.

DEFINITELY.

It really would be. We should strive for as much questionably mindfuckiness as possible as a cast, I think. :3

Also, shall we fade Dom/Mal in-Bar? Because I am pretty much incapable of letting them do anything but be cute for a while. Let them sort out reality later.

I HAD NEVER EVEN CONSIDERED THIS UNTIL NOW.

WOW.

MIND BLOWN. AGAIN.

To me what tipped me off was everyone staring meaningfully at him at the airport. Like this was something that needed to happen for him to come to terms with Mal's death. And maybe the whole "I have to do this job so I can get home to my children!" was set up because they knew he wouldn't just forgive himself; he needed to be actually cleared of the crime he thought himself responsible for. And I mean... Saito is ~so rich and powerful~ that he can buy the airline on a split second notice, AND make one phonecall and clear Cobb's name? Among other improbabilities that took place in the so-called "real" world. (Mysteriously narrowing alleyways?)

Admittedly, that version of events sort of still leaves Mal dead in real life, because why else would Cobb have all this guilt if she wasn't? SOB. :(

I really do think Cobb tried to put himself in a coma. You know like those rape victims who get all raped and create this fictional world for themselves where they have to WAKE UP and all you'd have to do would be to WAKE UP to come back to reality, so clearly the people here represent people who'd want you to PLEASE WAKE UP-

okay so no more creepypasta for me today.
