Hey guys. Hope you're all having a fun easter. I haven't done anything special, though our own little easter bunny has been playing with the dog all day, and has been generally adorable. After months, he still doesn't have a name. Everyone just kind of calls him Bunny. I guess it works.
It's been a bit of an emotional weekend. Nothing's really happened- I've just been in a down-ish mood.
Darlene wrecked my dad's car last week, and so he bought a new one yesterday morning. They fixed up his old car so that it looks decent, and it still works, which means that I'VE GOT A CAR, BITCHES!!! Fuck yeah. Now I just need to get my permit and learn to drive it.
Dad let me drive for the first time yesterday evening, in his new car (an automatic), because he wants me to get the hang up steering and such before I actually attempt learning the stick shift. HOLY SHIT, it was fun. Damn. I'm all eager to learn now. We were just maneuvering through a huge empty parking lot for an hour. It was a blast. That was the highlight of my weekend- I haven't done anything else.
I'm currently trying to choke down Darlene's Thai salad, which is so strongly spiced that I can't breathe for several seconds after taking a bite. It's not hot spicy- it's just an incredibly strong flavor.
I tried to give blood on Friday, but apparently I don't have enough iron in my blood. Sad. They gave me the most fantastically pathetic sticker ever, though- it's got a drop of blood with a heart in it, and says "I Tried." Oh man. Brilliant.
I got a polaroid camera over spring break, which I've been having a ton of fun with.
