(no subject)
so i figured i'd do an actual update since i dont really do very many of those. not much to say except the summers going over very nicely and i'm enjoying it. i just wish there was more alcohol involved. but alas, the future has yet to come.
so hmmm. i guess we can start with last saturday. i was able to get out of working because they had put like 4 girls on for the morning. so my mom and i woke up early, got egg sanGwhiches and went down to robert moses. i love it at that time of day...it was like hazy and windy and no one was there and we just sat in our chairs and ate by the water. it was so good. and the sun eventually came out, and i started my book. the kite runner. everyone loves it and i must say, so far i'm really enjoying it. i gave brett a copy of it and he took it to broadreach so maybe when he get's home he will have finished it and we can have a book discussion as if we are old farts. so anyway, after tanning and walking along the water, we came home by 12. i had like a knot in my stomach because i knew that i would probably get my ap grade that day. when i got home my dad had already opened the letter and saw that i got all 5's, which is really awesome and really weird at the same time. i wasnt even lying when i said i was praying for a 4, most likely would get a 3. it made me really happy because it felt like the first time in a loooong time where i had worked really hard for something and got recognized for it. theory was broken into 2 categories and i got 5's on both, it really just made me feel really really really happy about myself. especially because those most likely will be the only 5's i see bc next year will be brutal. but whatever, i'm really happy. everyone did reeeeeally well surprisingly, i havent heard very many people get under a 4 and nobody got below a 3. go graaaaaaabes! so anyway. then i hung around the house and did NOTHIGN until later that night when we went to the shirley crab party. i chilled with rachel the entire time because it was really awkward. we arent really friends with that crowd, so it was kindof annoying. maya and dana were there but we didnt hang out with them much, and maya drunk is just a whole other situation in itself. we hung out with alex mayen a lot which really made me happy because i like her and miss her. she's really sweet. anyway, then rachel dana maya and myself went to the conklin barn so maya could see alex and stuff. i wanted to see ben but then i was informed by lukas sosnow(i miss himmmm!!!) that he had surgery and wouldnt be there:-(. i miss him too. i'm nervous i'm not going to see ANYONE before they leave for school. anyway. ray and i walked home from conklin barn to her house and we went to sleep.
sunday steph,greg,denise,kailene, and myself all went out on rachels boat for the entire day. it was a loooot of fun, so much fun in the sun. we went to the beach we got eaten by horseflies we played kemps we got eaten by horseflies we tanned we got eaten by horseflies we went jetskiiing we got eaten by horseflies we jumped off of boats and oh yeah we got eaten by horseflies. but even with the horseflies, it was still such a fun thing to do with such good people. then we all got dinner afterwards, i got the most awkward looking shrimp tempura roll i have EVER seen. miso supaaaaaa! haha oh rachel. you slay me. all in all, good good great fantastic times.
monday almost missed drivers ed hahaha and talked to steph and she was gunna pick up delicious greek salad and iced coffee and come swimming. molly was SUPPOSED TO COME BUT SHE WAS TOO BUSY FOR US THAT STUPID WHORE. i kid. i love you molly and miss you!! but anyway so yeah while i was waiitng for her to come over the drill sergent (aka doreen) made me practice violin. so while i was practicing, my cell phone rang and to my surprise and exccitement, 'twas brett! so good, i was so happy to hear from him. we didnt really get to talk long, but it really felt amazing to just hear his voice. it sounds like he's having a blast. i mean, how can you not?! but it doesnt change the fact that i really miss him extreme amounts and want him to come home. 11 more days!!! almost in single digits biiiiiitches! anyway. so that was really a huge highlight of my day, let alone the 12 days that he had been gone. now it's 14 days that he's been gone, so the number of days left until he comes home is a smaller amount than the number of days he's been gone, which is what i've been waiting for since he left. anyway, so steph eventually came over with yummy iced coffee and yummy greek salad. so we put all of those things in our bellys and played cards and swam, which was really nice. then she braided my hair pretty sweet. that night i called nick to see what him and pat were doing and they were already together with brittney flynn and sean duffy about to get chinese but they said they were gunna pick me up so i could go!! it was a lot of fun, we got chinese and brought it over to northport and ate in a pavillion thingy then went driving around..around the parking circle 3 full times in a row hhahaha. and got icecream and such and listened to a hillarious song made by one of our peers. good night. i love them.
so thennnnnnnn yesteryda i worked with michelle. i love her, she's the sweetest most down to earth person ever. and then was supposed to chll with elen, obviously her mom said no, so greg, steph, rachel, and myself started a kemps tournament that shall last throughout the entire summer. so intense. then elen FINALLY came out jesus christ superstar and we played drug dealer hahahah funniest game. then rachel had to leave so we taught elen kemps. soo much fun. i love that game. and it was lightening out. and it was siiiiick!
