30 Days of Journaling - Days 3 & 4

Mar 15, 2011 15:22

I've kept up with my 30 days of journaling, but forget to post here (I post it on my public blog). So I'm going to catch up with some posts. I'm already half way done!

30 Days of Journaling - Day 3

Here is the finished journal page that I started yesterday. Check out what Bianca did today. You can see the rest of my posts for this project here.

30 Days of Journaling - Day 4

I decided not to give myself a time limit this morning. I wanted to be with what I was feeling, and give it the time I needed to get it on my journal page. But I still worked fairly quickly. I don't really labor over things in my journal. The picture on the left of Mini Mary I took on my morning walk in the cemetery with my dog, Ruby. Then when I got home, I took a quick self-portrait to use. I love that modern technology helps me to be so instant with my photography to use in my art journal. On the left side, you can see the orange & pink edge of the page from the previous 2 days of journaling. That's part of why I love using pages that are different sizes in my journal. It helps the other pages peek through and add visually to the new spread. And as you can see, I blurred out most of the writing. It was pretty personal, and felt this was a way I could still share my journal page. The alphabet stamps I used at the top are Nashville twins. And yes, I used the copic airbrush system & some stencils. It's kind of hard not for me to use it, it's so much fun.

See what Bianca is up to with her 30 days of Journaling. You can see the rest of my posts for this project here.
