a day of advice given, and some received, and the day i met JSS
Lots of talking done today... this morning with my brother over facebook, about some stuff, and then after this afternoons mini tidy and a nice bath, and finally using my black pearl...
was pleasantlysurprised by j calling round, and we had a chat bout stuff, before ben returned and i went off to the gig i had a ticket for.

first up were 'crimes of passion' a local band in that they are from rotherham...
not a bad bunch though - a fairly decent cover of 'holy diver' was the only thing i knew of their set, but i can't complain too much at that!
Then the main act. Jeff Scott Soto - i'd had a ticket for the talisman gig that was cancelled earlier this year, so as soon as i found out that JSS was heading back to sheffield, i got a ticket....
not really in a frame of mind for giggage, i was quite ambivolent before setting out this evening, however i was pleasantly surprised... and it was a good gig - the band were having fun, and it showed, even if the audience was piss poor... and the encore was marvellous... and i really hope that someone youtubes it, or that it's included on a DVD somewhere...
anyhow, i wasn't a fangirl by queueing up to get something signed... but after the early departure of ed for the evening, i decided sod it, im going to go say what im thinking... so instead queued up to do just that... and had the pleasure of a conversation with the man, who despite not having slept for over 26 hours, was still more than happy to head out to drink beer with us mortals...and take an interest in what was being said to him.... the sign of a true professional.
and so today closes with words of advice having been dished out and come in from the most unexpected of places.
now to see what tomorrow brings.
