anyhow, as an entirely different note; as apparently ive been a really hard person to buy for this year for my spawning day....
i have come up with a list of things you could get for yule/midwinters/piratemas/christmas/twelthnight/tuesday/next year if you should be feeling so inclined.
im not posting it up here but i do have a list.

im really liking the josh groban album i bought myself, i haven't actually listened to the foo fighters one yet!
it gives me a little hope as he is apparently defined as being classical crossover - i can see why... but vocally he is kinda similar to me... too much contemporary to be defined as classical, and too much classical to be defined as contemporary.... kinda sums up everything thats wrong with my voice.... but what he is doing suits him and he is getting acclaim for it.
go him!
in other news, met up with chris who was in sheff for a fleeting visit and went home yesterday, on friday after work, which brought some much needed laughter. it was really good to see chris, and none of the anticipated awkwardness was there, it was just good plain old catching up and fun. hope he gets the job he's applying for cause it would be nice to see more of him.
and where is this snow that was forecast dammit!?
gonna go find something to eat now and then... prolly play civ or somethign to pass the time
