about lots of things...
how i really enjoyed the short autumn we had, with the pretty colours and crispness of the leaf falls, and that im irritated that i didn't manage to get any pictures of anything...
i could also post about how i am feeling quite tired again recently, which isn't so good, and im just hoping its cause i haven't eaten as many greens as i should have been so its just the anaemia flaring up some...
i could post about how i am learning to dislike the cold, as it gets into my joints, and im prone to getting lovely bouts of backache in addition to joint ache... but im getting on top of that.
today i kept getting a really weak spot in my leg muscle (left) which was rather interesting, and im quite glad i was pushing a trolly around morrisons at the time it did it and i wasn't just crossing the room... wonder if i tweaked something.
i made something for tea i haven't had in years and years and had never cooked before...
i made cod poached in milk with mashed potato and parsley sauce for my tea - a big treat for me given the price of fish. didn't overcook the fish either which im surprised at. ive done quite well out of myself this month as i bought me a piece of fish and some dk orange chrysanthenums. chrys' are i think my favourite flower, and these were quite pretty. they are currently sat in a large preserve jar though as i don't own a vase that is suitable and cant see any i like about at the mo.
spoke to jack again today to confirm i can have the day off we were talking about, so all i need is a christopher to be back in sheffield and around and it could be a kick arse birthday.
on the realm of birthday things, i have been thinking about what i might like and have a few things so if you are feeling that way inclined and want an idea then let me know.
been having some interesting thoughts/questions about faith recently, my personal faith as well as general ones, which are proving challenging but i think possibly good. working out where i stand etc.... just thought i would mention that... not that it will have any impact on who or how i am friends with.
went to see the dark is rising on sunday lunchtime. what i predicted they would do was indeed done, and the film suffered for it. if they were going to remove the basis of the novel's plot they shouldn't have rushed what they did to replace it, although there were some redeeming moments, notably, miss greythorne (even if she needed to be 20 years older), and the black rider. hopefully a film of the real story will be made in time...
saw the trailer for beowolf though, which looks quite shiny, as does the golden compass, which i may now see... and also saw the first teaser for the new batman... well rather heard, as there is no real visuals other than the bat sign.... and OMFG heath ledger has the laugh.... ! oh and i got myself a really cool bag while i was there....
so thats the last while in a nutshell....
until next time i guess then folks.
