what i learned from moving, 2007 edition:
1. it is better to have too many boxes than too few.
2. all of comcast's hold music either sounds like aaron neville or is aaron neville. accept this fact.
3. take apart anything that can be taken apart.
4. know where your allen wrenches are at all times.
5. unpack the coffeemaker first.
things are coming along. almost all the furniture is put back together. the kitchen is in functioning order. the radiators are posing a challenge to arranging the furniture in the office and k's room but i think we've got it figured out.
the MVA does address changes online now! oh, except if you have a CDL. this means i actually have to dig up my DOT card. and sit in beltsville forever and ever.
jacob is sitting for the bar today and tomorrow. he says it is kicking his ass but i think in the end it will be the other way around. also, why is taking an exam also called "sitting for" an exam? is it possible to take the bar without sitting? anyway, soon all of the bar madness will be over! then we can focus on the settling in madness for two days, followed by k's arrival on saturday. whee!
