Total Lunar Eclipse 2015
Last month's eclipse was spectacular. We had clear skies in Boston, and the Moon was high enough in the sky that interference from light pollution was minimal (well, minimal for being surrounded by cities…).
Shortly after second contact, we went out to a small field in Winchester and set up my telescope and camera in the parking lot. Views through the scope were incredible, but I was surprised (after the fact) at how well my non-fancy camera captured the eclipse.
