...but 4.0 is such a pretty number. :/

Nothing like school to make you worry to the point of illness about one mark on one paper in one class. IT IS NOT THE END OF THE WORLD! Your future employers will not care - honest! :)

I really couldn't tell the difference between my A, B or C work in a lot of classes. It all looked good to me, and I always tried my best. *shrug* There's only one paper I even really remember, and I'm very very proud of it.

99% of the people I know who maintain 4.0s have no social skills / are no fun.

School is not just about book learnin'.

3 is a much better number than 4 imo... But of course you don't want to shoot for an even 3. Shoot for a lovely decimal. I like 9s, too, so 3.9 is a good number to shoot for, clearly.
