He had Rogue on the team after all and she is still Brotherhood, still entangled with the man body and soul. Not because John already had a team to belong to. So did everyone, Logan has about five. Not because he didn't think John would be an asset to a team; Logan knows John was talented, if temperamental. And despite his history, not because he worried John was unstable. Lorna, Rachel, Wanda. Hell, Jean. Stability is clearly not what Logan was looking for in building his team. No, Logan didn't invite John to join the Rebellion for the same reasons he left out Laura and Beatrice.
