(no subject)
I'm in a good,because this court that i call literally every 3-4 hours everyday for the past week FINALLY picked up their phone,which caught me off guard. The lady wasn't in a good mood,but she changed the my courtdate to march 23rd(smack in the middle of my spring break) so i wont be coming home next week(sorry laurianna!) but i think i might come home presidents day weekend(like the 3rd weekend i think).
Jaime and I went to play basketball today,except the women's volleyball team was using the gym. So then he randomly decided that we should play raquetball.SO we went back to the equipment room and got raquets and met up with Thomas and Takto, except that I have really,really,bad eye hand coordination and do any sports that involve them,so we left after 10 minutes and went back to the equipment room for the 3rd time(the first was to get a basketball) and ended up going to the fitness center. Im a major weakling,but at least I can lift more than the bar, and I can least lift as much as Jaime(who's arms are bigger than mine so it surprised me) and then had random snowfights.
French class sucks,we spend the time correcting our scenes(or just really putting ours on the projector and Candide corrects them).I mean,the soap opera stuff is fun(our storyline is AMAZINGLY good if anyone wants to hear it),but I haven't learned jacksquat in the class. Like our book is grammar that i fricken learned maybe 4-5 years ago. People say that "well,some people didn't learn all their grammar,but since they've taken french,they got placed into this class(201-202)" which ticks me off because its a conversational class. If people really dont know grammar,then there should be a seperate class for that. And considering I learn A LOT more in my italian class of the same level (and its not b/c ive only studied italian for a year),i feel like im being jipped in terms of tuition costs. YES,i actually want more work and studying for the class.
On another note,arianna reminded me why I hate ms tompkins so much.Thanks! And gayle IMed me to thank me for the gift i sent her. It didn't phase me all too much.And im really excited for France,even tho its not for another several months.
