Hi! thanks for dropping by :) i recognize your name from ceej's post-play. shane is adorable!
umm..in the interest of fairness, i don't really make posts about play or shane or the boys. yesterday's was an exception due to ceej's LJ problem and we pretty much kept the discussion limited to 3 or 4 people and i'm not entirely certain that it's something i/tara want read/commented on at this point.
i should also point out that i'm VERY barely in HP fandom, my interests are overwhelmingly tennis (the ATP men's tour) and House M.D. the chance of there being posts about HP fandom or canon are, at this point, slim to none.
God, I love House, MD. I'm a physician myself, and the medicine on that show is so ridiculously outlandish, but I watch it because House is just incredibly funny. And because I'd love to be that candid with patients in real life (in real life, House would have had so many malpractice suits against him by this time that he would no longer be practicing medicine). And Jesse Spenser is beautiful. I don't get a chance to watch it much, though (just not enough hours in the day for TV most of the time). Thanks for writing back. I really enjoy your comments on ceej's recap posts.
omg, yeah, i only discovered the show in the fall but it was love at first sight. i've been a fan of laurie from his jeeves & wooster days. now i'm all caught up and such a big fan of it! i imagine it must be really funny watching it with insider medical knowledge though. i'm still naive enough to go "oooh" at all their twists and turns :D
*rolls with it* I grew up about 15 minutes from Forest Hills, so that was always a big deal to watch. My grandfather actually almost made it to Forest Hills himself. And I always loved watching Wimbledon. Loved Billie Jean King and Chrissy Evert and Martina Navratilova and Bjorn Bork and Rod Laver. But my favorite was always Jimmy. Hated McEnroe; thought he was a huge baby on the court (although undeniably talented). Jimmy could be a brat, too, but he wasn't whiny like John was. I think McEnroe is a wonderful tennis commentator, though.
