How did you know my weakness for unfinished tables?! Gaaaahhhh it's like bubble wrap to meeeeeee. Anyway, I'm super excited about this challenge, so expect me back sometime later today with something. NOBODY TAKE "COLOURLESS" WHILE I'M GONE! IT IS MIIIIIIIINE!

This is marvelous! And so tragic. My favorite part was "The Master sees him glow like a bottle of golden wine held up to the sunlight, full to the brim, stoppered, and just beyond his reach." IMAGERYYYYY! <3

Poor dear. The Doctor does try so, but it never would work, would it? It's a very beautiful piece. <3

They had been childhood friends on Gallifrey once, so much more than that. They had been through so much, the Doctor had even killed another to save him. Even with their falling out, they couldn't stop the pull to each other, the two brilliant minds so attracted. Even amnesia couldn't stop the Doctor from knowing who he was. So even with every biting comment, every action done or not done, every plan to destroy and plan destroyed, even with all the damage done and to come, they would remain so much more than friends or enemies. There was simply too much between them.

Oh, look at the BFA reference! XD Hm, there is too much between them, though I think that works lovely both ways. Too much to be anything less and too much to be anything more. Very nice little drabble!

Oh my god this is amazing, I want to do all the drabbles forever. O_O Excuse me, I may have a bit of a thing for tables. Also wtf self this is far longer than 100 words. The Master spends as much time in her as he can. It feels safe, though the TARDIS’ vague disapproval of his presence permeates the air. It feels right, despite her commentary, and her rooms hum with the familiar song of a sedentary time machine. Here, and only here, can he set down his tools, human and otherwise, and allow himself a rest ( ... )

ME. TOO.

Also, I really enjoyed this drabble! I love it when the TARDIS gets tricksy. And the OMGBETRAYALRAGE!Master. :-)

oh man, the number of times I have oogled those 100prompts comms. Pretty, pretty tables.

thank you! I love a bit of vague TARDIS interference, and the Master's little temper tantrums are a weakness of mine.

I rather enjoyed your drabble below, though the poor Doctor's coat! It'd be a tragedy if it weren't such a lolzy image.

((Mem is cheating slightly, since the majority of this was something that was cut from another fic I wrote. However, I liked it too much to disregard completely and this gives me a reason to bring it out. <3 ))The Doctor almost couldn't remember a time when the Master wasn't afraid of death. When they were sixteen, Theta managed to get his hands on the blueprints to a primitive form of time travel that some alien race had created to manipulate the vortex. Primitive, but working, and it was enough to give them a rudimentary knowledge of how to build their own long before they were allowed to do so ( ... )

I love this! Very realistic, I can really believe this happening.

Thanks! I think Time Lords are very sheltered from death in general, so it was fun playing with a little culture shock.
