So I've done a podfic type thing. I sort of stumble over words a lot and I hope my very American accent isn't too grating, but the fic is really good. There is never enough Shalka in the world and since I can't write worth a damn, I thought I give ya'll something.

Oh, okay, wow. I, uh, didn't realize that fic was so long. Anyway, I'm pretty excited over here, and I'm sure the podfic is great! I'm driving all day Tuesday, so I'm definitely going to listen to this then.

I did! The voices were really excellent - the way you read the dialogue, I mean. Especially the aliens.

hello. listened to this earlier today, and really enjoyed it. the american accent wasn't grating at all, and you got across the way everyone sounded (particularly the funny aliens) very well :D thanks for posting.

the only thing i would add is that it was a little bit distracting to have to go back to the beginning of paragraphs sometimes - i would have been quite happy with the stumble, but it's a very minor quibble, because basically i enjoyed a very pleasant hour of listening happiness.
