REC: Moral Compromises
For my last rec I decided to pick something that encapulsates the ship for me. Thus, this rec represents every canonical Doctor/Master (except Eleven since the drabble series was written in 2008).
Pairing: Every Doctor and Master except Eleven (poor Eleven gets no Master love)
Length: Ten drabbles of ~100 words each

Why this must be read: Because these boys have History (with a capital H) and this set of drabbles shows that History nicely. One drabble for each incarnation. My favourite is “The Third Regeneration” (Fourth Doctor), but I decided to link to all of them, since read together they tell a whole story--centuries’ worth of story--and they’re all great explorations of the development of the Doctor and the Master’s relationship over time.
