(no subject)
K, so I've got some semi-exciting news! Sort of, not quite sure how I feel about it yet. So I think I've mentioned to different people about my sister's crazy plan for me, my mom, her, and her two kids to all move into a house together. We'd be renting it, but they would both be saving about $300 a month by splitting rent and bills and what not. Well, at the first of the week, mom and chrystine found a really nice, three bedroom house. It's on fountain drive, so it's in Sherwood. Really nice on the inside, nice back yard, big deck, all that stuff. Now i know what you're thinking "three bedrooms you say...but there are five of you!". Well, yes, there ARE five of us. But there are two smaller bedrooms, and one humongous bedroom upstairs. So it was decided that *if* we were to move in there, Chrystine and Clifford (my three year old nephew) would share the great big humongous room, and mom and Joey would have the other two rooms. So what about me???
Well, I forgot to mention the GIGANTIC fully finished basement the house has. I wouldn't even call it a basement, more like a bottom floor. Like, the room is absolutley gorgous. It's all done up with a burgundy bottom half of the wall, then this really pretty border that has violins and other music stuff on it all the way around, and then a light yellow top half of the wall. And at first, it was gonna be that mom would take the basement, but mom and Chrystine decided that I'd need it more, and the room suites me better. So I;d have a whole gigantic basement/room to myself, which will hold my bed, dresser and desk, as well as the big 27 inch TV and a couch and chair, and the computer, and my keyboard and music stuff. It's also pretty sound proof, offering me a high quality study area, complete with own computer, as well as a good practice area. So I don't always have to go all the way into the music department to practice. This also means that I can have who ever I want, when ever I want over, to do what ever I want. Whether it's having a bunch of people over to watch a movie, or having people over drinking before we hit up the bars, or even just a party! Plenty of room, plenty of privancy! (Also, plenty of room for people to spend the night if need be).
So anyways, the owner of the house signed it over to us today, and also gave us the keys. Mom wants to be out of here by the first of October, but depending on our current landlord, it might not be till the end of October, cuz he said he wants two months notice, not just one. Cuz he's pissed off that we're moving, but oh well. So yeah, I'm sort of excited about this, but sort of not cuz I'm not used to living with a large amount of people. Cuz it's pretty much just been me and mom my whole life, except for that period when my brother was with us. But I just have to keep telling myself....awsome parties, awsome parties!!!! Anyways, that's all I have to say for now! Off to bed, and then work tomorrow for the first time since I hurt my foot!
