(no subject)
yay! this update is finally coming from the comforts of my bed rather than the computer lab :) which also means ive got cable. didnt really mind the no tv thing, but its nice all the same
so im happy to say that classes are actually going pretty well right now, topic wise and grade wise. math is, you know, math. as far as it goes, its alright. we took our first test on monday, got it back today....and taha! i got an A! that doesnt happen :P and we got our first papers back in history on monday...he was talking about how they were good overall, that the grades ranged A's to C's. and im like, grrreeeat, im definately in the C group. got them back at the back of class, and bam...no C for me! got an A- on it....which makes me incredibly happen cuz im terrible at writing papers
so people came here this past weekend. that was so nice, yet so sad at the same time (yes its true, im insanely crazy). started off friday afternoon when derrick came over to watch hercules, only to find out that he had a vhs, and i only have dvd players. so that meant we were off to the mall instead. ok though, cuz i got to see his house then (omg, it looked so much nicer than ours!) and then he needed to get pillows and i needed money from the atm, so i spose it worked out anyways. then andrea came (yay!), we looked around the house a bit, then went off to tullys for some dins with others. then we're 'bored' so went to cicero...which meant big sister for like 5 minutes :D went to see andys house (amazing), then back here to go to 829 for some good ol college fun.
get up the next morning and laid in bed for like half an hour not knowing if andrea was up yet. then she comes in and we talked for a bit, then decided that breakfast was in order. oh that was amusing. then it was over to derricks to help him paint...and we all got smurfified before a trip to coldstone...where some wonderfully embarassing details about some late night girl talk was let out to derrick....at least andrea said it before alex came, since derrick kinda already knew about it. came back and got further smurfed and bruised by wonderfully falling off the couch and onto the paint can...oops...at least it only got on the desk and not the rug. (sorry again). then went on some house tours, saw andrea, then ended up back here with derrick alex andy michelle and amanda, before eventually heading over to 829 again. after being there for awhile me and derrick headed back here to finally watch hercules...which he unfortunately slept through for the most part :(
sunday he stopped by for a few minutes to pick up his watch and poptarts and say goodbye. that made me sad, cuz andrea had already left the night before, and everybody else i had seen were or already had gone home again. the weekend was absolutely amazing, like the best ive had this summer, but it did definately make me sad. theres something about living in an empty house, then having it full for awhile, that makes it seem even emptier when they all leave. talked to jackie for a few minutes later that night. called my mom and talked to her for like an hour. and im not gonna lie, there were a few tears shed during the day, cuz well, yes, im just that much of a baby. ended up watching hercules twice instead of studying for math (but it went ok anyways, so its alright), which yes, is a really good movie, but definately made me sad. ive come to a conclusion. when i get out of here, like graduate and whatnot, wherever i go, i need to not be living along :P
rachels coming back in a few days to finish painting her room which makes me happy, andreas coming with her parents some time this weekend, and my parents are coming up saturday night, which actually makes me happy actually cuz i havent seen my dad in a month. oh, and jackies gonna be here this weekend too so ill get to see the lil sis.
and now with the cable i may be able to get things out of my head. oh wouldnt that be nice
