The $2 portrait project was started by a bay area photographer after realizing how he avoided people who asked him for money. Since he started the project, many other photographers have decided to join in. I was in the San Francisco and Felton a couple of weeks ago. I spent 10 days up north, kickin' it at the SF Lindy Exchange and sticking around in Felton for lrc 's birthday party.

The lindy exchange was nice, but then again, I'll take any excuse to go up to SF. I got lots of nice dance shots.

I meant to do this last week, but I wanted to wait until I finished processing my photos, which I didn't finish until yesterday.

Monday, I spent the better part of my time in a place where it was hot, very, very crowded, very noisy, and a whole lot of muthafuckas were out there on the street getting drunk as hell or getting high, aka the Lakers Championship Parade.

One of my friends has appointed me her fashion consultant.

A couple of weekends ago, I was visiting lrc  and zabster  in Felton. Zab and I went to Santa Cruz for a little lunch and some shopping. I took a second trip to the Salton Sea a couple of weeks ago with lrc and the Los Angeles Flickr group, and it was interesting to see how the sea had changed, especially at Bombay Beach. The water level had fallen about a foot since the last trip in May, and things that were under water before were now exposed.
