it's been a while
I haven't really updated in a while, so I thought I'd take a moment and write about what I've been up to. This week was rather crazy. Monday I started my physical therapy for my back. It's been hurting for a long time, so I figured I should do something about it before I have to have 2 surgries like my mama. My therapist is really nice, but it's frusterating because she doesn't know exactly how to help me. I know it's going to take time, but I want to feel better pronto! haha. And I have to tell ya'll about the ultrasound heat therapy she was doing on Wed and Friday.... she got the gel stuff in my XLBC!!! ahhhhh! She wasn't paying attention when she was setting the machine, and got the cold gel right in there... I about died. 1) because my ass crack was showing so she could get my lower back and not get it all over my pants and 2) because the gel was in my crack and she didn't even wipe it off... I about died of embarassement :-(
lol.
So, I had PT on Wed and Friday as well, and she just was having me do some stretches and exercises, none of which helped. So, hopefully next week we can narrow something down.
So, after PT on Mon, Wed and Fri, I worked. I've seriously been kicking ass at work. lol. I have been getting grrrrrrrrreat tips, I love it. lol.
Tuesday I had classes from 930-445. And Mark bought me the Grey's Anatomy Season 2 dvds and brought them up to me at school during lunch :-D I have a grrrrrreat bf!!! :-D
Thursday I had classes as well... but this time only until 1:45 because I didn't get the override for the class I was trying to get into... I thought that was gonna push back my grad date, but I figured out that if I switch my major and minor... major to journalism and minor to English language, that I wouldn't need that class that I didn't get into! And, I'll be done with my minor... cool. huh? So, I have to do that this week, change it around and make sure I can still graduate in May. :-D
Friday after work I watched 3 epis of Grey's with my mama.. and then the guys came and got Jen and I and we met Stroker, his gf, Johhny, Carolyn and Jesse at Joe's Crab Shack in Auburn Hills, for dinner. The waitress made fun of Jesse, it was awesome! (referencing the fact that his bill was on the top of the stack...) Jesse says something along the lines of "always being on top, where he likes it..." and she said "that sucks, you gotta get a new girlfriend" lmao lmao! We were dieing. After Joe's we went to Game Works and had a blast! After we spent our money, Jen and I spent a lot of Drewno's and Blev's money on playing the games where you win tickets.. lol... We won around 1200 tickets!! So, we took like 25 minutes getting prizes for us all. lol. It was fun. And then we all crammed into those sticker picture booths, and took like 2 different poses of those, and then took a pencil stetch drawing, too! lol. Got stuck in a traffic jam on the way home, had to get off of 94 and drive through the ghetto, fun night :-D
Saturday after work, Mark and I went to the Tiger's game. We had to get standing room only tickets, which sucked because I was soo tired, but it was still fun. Tigs won and I got to see Charlie :-D :-D lol. Still can't believe we are in first place, still... amazing! After the game, we didn't want to stay for the fireworks so we headed back to the parking garage... we parked on the 3rd level, but we decided to go up to the 12th level and check out the view... it was beautiful up there.. I really do love Detroit.
And today, nothing but work and homework for me. My aunt Carol and her husband are in town from Houston, so it was nice to see them for a bit, but then I had to do mounds of reading, which sucks. Because I'm only about halfway through it and I have to get to bed so I can work at 630am tomorrow. So, I have work til around 130ish, PT at 3ish and class from 630-910. yuck. Mondays are gonna stink.
Can't wait til Thursday!! wahoooooooooo!
okay, I think that's enough I need to sleep now.
