Last night, i went to see Grease in Lexington at Town Square with my parents to see my youth director play the Teen Angel. First of all, i really do enjoy my parents... especially my dad. This 62 year old guy has been riding his bike to and from work for the past 4 years, not only that, but everwhere else he needs to go as well, aka: church, grocery store, haircuts... and never complains once. i mean really, what a guy. yesterday, he got his bike re-built, and he was so excited. Anyway, he told me about when he was in high school, he was at the beach going through his wallet finding money to pay for beers, and found a card that was a scheduled SAT for the next morning at 7:00 in florence, which was 4 hours away... i then preceeded to ask him what he got on the SAT, and he told me a 1600... where my mom rolled her eyes and said "you remember about his memory right?"
anyway, i just wish you could know them... these stories might be funnier. haha. But, we drove out to lexington to watch Grease. It was sold out for tonight, so we didnt think we could get tickets... and my youth director called and asked if we were comming, and we told him we couldnt, and he called back and said "ive got 4 tickets" so we got 3 of them, only to find that he had made us makeshift fold out seats at the very back of the auditorium... what a guy. haha. But, all of this Grease buisness brought me back to last year (i played Frenchy) and my parents probably wanted to kill me, cause i remember all the lines, and songs, and everything. (for all those grease people, our production was better ;)... then again, im extra critical because i know everything about the show...however, their scene changes werent an hour long) But Steve, teen angel, rocked the socks off the beauty school dropout song... so all in all, it was worth it.
iiii spend my dayyyys just moooooning over youuuuu.
