whhhhat, whattt! im home from salkehatchie. oooh i had a slammin awesome time, as always. For those of you who didnt know, salkehatchie is a mission trip that i go on with my church, and we go to Marion, SC (there are a ton of camps in SC) and go work on houses, that their owners arent financially able to fix it up... or are disabled, or you know, stuff like that. It was an amazing experience, really spiritually uplifting, if you know what i mean. But it was amazing. Usually, its only me and amy who go from our church... and this year my brother and some kids his age could come cuz they were the right age. I love those kids, and i bonded with the church fam.
My house that i worked on belonged to this lady named Ms.Willis, and abouta year ago, there was a drive by shooting near her house, and this guy got shot in the back of the head and ran into the back of her house...and she had insurance, but for some reason they wouldnt pay for the damages... imnot really sure what all happened there. but it was pretty crazy. So we built that whole room, plus more back, and we fixed a place in her roof that had burned a couple years back, and she payed someone 1400 dollars to fix it, and he ran away with the money. that happens a lot, which is suprising.
but we had an awesome time, and i miss everyone so much already, i love those people thee. i freakin cant wait till next year. SSSSSSSWEEET.
