[Though when they get near the edge of the water, Kanda will see that it's not totally bare sand and water. Lavi has been preparing a few things. There is a small raft-looking thing, no wider than maybe a foot or two adorned with a bright paper lantern. And sitting on the raft is this bouquet with a tiny card attached to it that says in neat and clean cursive "Alma Karma"]

Daisies, the flower of innocence, yeah. And Alma was innocent before the Black Order found her... or him I suppose is more appropriate. Even more innocent when she was reborn for the Second Exorcist Project.
So this is a good flower for her, don't you think?

So how about we send her off, yeah. With a prayer, some flowers, a light to guide her, and our well wishes. If you don't think you can save her, we'll have to entrust higher powers to ensure her happy ending.
