[When Allen comes back from his meeting with Chase, Lavi will be pacing. Normally, Lavi wouldn't think too much of his roommate spending the night (or day) away from their little home away from home. But on most occasions, Allen told Lavi ahead of time. Which means something had to have happened ( Read more... )

[It's a bit late into the night already by the time Allen finally makes it back to Lavi's room, despite having left Chase's room so early on into the night. He'd left just barely past sundown, and now... who knew what time it was, really.

The door opens without a knock, and Allen's peeks inside, checking to see if Lavi was actually there - and he frowns in a confused way when he notes the pacing.]

...what's wrong? [His cheeks shouldn't be red anymore, at least, not like they were earlier. Maybe if he was just... careful, what happened wouldn't be totally obvious.]

[Turns to Allen and smiles. A very very relieved smile. In about five paces, he's cleared the distance and has his arms wrapped tightly around Allen]

Nothing now.

... I was worried. [Said a little sheepishly. He had been trying hard not to keep from mother henning his friends to the point he was smothering them. It had just been... rather difficult to do that lately]

[He ends up sagging against Lavi before he really realizes it, leaning his weight against the other's chest and returning the embrace without much hesitation. He tilts his head so that his face is pressed against Lavi's shoulder, and pulls in a deep breath.] Sorry... [Thinking on it now, running into Chase had been a fluke. And staying out as long as he had had been as much of a fluke as anything else. With the way the Dressing Room had been as of late (and his own memory loss from the last time), he couldn't blame Lavi for worrying.] I was out a lot longer than I thought I'd be...

It's fine, yeah. Perfectly fine. No need to apologize.

[Scoops Allen up into his arms and goes to bring him over to the bed. Allen looks... well, the reason he was out must not have been a pleasant one. He'd offer tea or coffee if it wouldn't just sit in the vampire's stomach. He sets Allen down on the bed and fluffs the pillows (combining both his and Allen's pillows into a giant pile) before pushing him a bit to lean against the headboard]

But if you don't mind me being nosy, where did you run off to, yeah?
