Well, hello there!
It's been a long time, LiveJournal. I've been neglecting you. I'm sorry. It's simply that I don't have time anymore. When I have thoughts worth thinking, I don't have the time to put them down. When I do have the time, I'm too tired. Life's a bitch. Here's what's up.
I'm still working at the same place. It kinda' sucks. They've let go more than 60 people since November. Everybody's walking on eggshells, waiting for the other shoe to drop. It's just not comfortable.
I started the year with a kidney stone that actually sent me to the ER because of the pain I was in. Being on oxycodone made my brain with the dumbness, so I wound up using all my sick days for the year by the 2nd week in January. Then Olivia lost her job, which added to the joy.
My car got the "take it out back and shoot it" diagnosis from the mechanic in February, so I had to get a new vehicle. I shopped around for a few weeks and wound up getting a 2008 Jeep Compass at a good price with a 0% interest loan. Ever since, I have had nothing but problems. I can understand why Chrysler is going into bankruptcy. The car's absolutely fine, but the service I've gotten from the dealership, sales dept through financing, and from Chrysler Financial has been abominable. I just knocked on wood so I could say this, I think this is the first week since I made my purchase on 2/23 that I haven't had to drive there or speak to someone on the phone because something got fucked up. But it's only Wednesday.
I've been full of anger. I don't have an outlet anymore. I can't remember the last time I had one. Somebody help me out here.
I honestly don't check the LJ so much anymore. I'm on Twitter 90% of the time through my phone. I'm GaelicHero, if you feel like searching me out.
