TentFilter: any of you go camping?

I'm looking at getting a new tent for going car camping this summer.  I have a "3 man" tent, which can fit a double air mattress inside with a tiny amount of space on each side, but my head and feet push up against the ends.  It's fine for taking on a hike when I don't bring along the mattress, but when I'm setting up camp near the car I would rather have some extra space over portability.

Has anyone on my friends list had a favourable experience with a 4-5 man tent that they would care to share?

I'm considering a Chinook Whirlwind Guide 5, available in a local shop for a decent price.  It's a luxurious 7x10' inside and the peak is 6' (minus the gear loft) - but still, that's lots of room to change and relax about inside.  Two doors (with mesh), good rainfly, and a large vestibule.  Should be good for ventilation, unlike a few other potential tents that I have looked at (Kelty Green River 4, Outbound Outpost Long 5).

Suffice to say, I'm really looking forward to going camping this summer, even though we're almost 3 months away from decent camping weather.  The earliest that it's practical to head out is the May long weekend, and even then it's quite chilly at night.  However, I've completed my set of "everything in BC within about 8 hours drive" of Backroad Mapbooks, and have a good selection of camping sites on rutted logging roads to choose from now.  I like maps!  Also, I like camping.
