Also, are you a native of Germany or just living there?

Thanks, I will take a look :) and yes, I'm a native, but I've visited Britain a couple of times and I just fall in love with the people, culture and especially music there. I hope that does not sound freaky or something. I applied for an university place in Manchester for the next summer term, but I'm not that optimistic that they will choose me. Anyway, if that does not work, I will probably try to work in Britain, London would be great;), for a couple of months then.
By the way, it's amazing how many British people are living in Berlin. One of my best friends moved into a block of flats that's usually let to British students.

Doesn't sound freaky at all. I just sent in my application to read History at Manchester as well, what do you want to study?

I'm already studying social science, that's a combination of sociology and political science at our university. I'm in the 5th term right now, so that I'm supposed to do my bachelor degree next term, but I do not have a real idea for the topic for my conclusion papers. That's also a reason, why I would like to study in Manchester. You would like to study history? That was my first choice as a subject, but they did not have the bachelor degree at that time and sociology and political science refer to it in some way. I'm quite content with my choice, after all.

Thats's cool. I'd love to study abroad, but I've got no idea how I'd pay for it. Anyway, I look forward to reading your journal!

p.s. my real name is Chloe, what's yours?

Oh sorry, I forget to tell you, my real name is Sylvia (I'm 22 years old, by the way, but I don't feel that way..like everybody else, probably). And I'm also looking forward to read your journal.
