All right hoes, it is Kira Soleil Jedi Johnston time!
Kira, or Jedi as you may know her, made her appearance on this side of the womb, (finally) at 6:23 this morning.... after her mother had been in some sort of labor for about oh, a day and a half.
The first half was a slow torture for Mommy ( problems with her epidural, etc, no food=cranky)but as she rounded the corner of 5 cm at around 5:00 am, on this day 08/08/06, the contractions came long and strong, within an hour and 15 min, "WHOAH, 7 cm ....good work, should be close now, "
ad then.....Candace's serious look, and tyhen her scrunchy face, and then, "DO you need me to get the nurse back in here ti check you?" -jennifer ...cut to Susan fetching the nurse, .....two fingers in"OH, your all the way. SHE"S ALL THE WAY< PAGE THE DOCTOR!"
"IT's coming. " - candace, "try not to push" -nervous Jennifer (at this point candace is lying sideways with a pillow between her legs. " I Can't help it. " - Candace And the nthe screamimg....
IT"S COMING< AHHHHHHHHHHHHHH OH, NOW! NOW!!!!!!
Exit Jennifer and Susan , Door closes, and Alarm goes off.....All nurses rush to assist, Jennifer and Susan commence panic attacks, until...wait for it " wah -wah -wahhhhhhhhhhhhhhh"
Healthy lil baby cry. Kira SHot into this world like a player at 4 lbs and 12 oz, a healthy 18 in,
Homegirl managed to maintain her girlish figure upon entrance into this world.
mom and baby both seem to be healthy, Kira will be able to room with her mom by tomorrow as long as there are no complications, and Turne is SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO CUTE and PROUD.
