Character name: Hans Arlens
Fandom: Atelier Annie: Alchemist of Sera Island
Timeline: End of game Best Ending.
Age: 21/22
~*Magical*~ abilities and strengths: He doesn't really have any. He is not a particularly good swordsmen though he knows how to use a sword, and though he is capable of using a few special skills in battle the story clearly states he is not a fighter.
His greatest strength is in his organization skills and ability to deal with multiple types of people. He was born in a bureaucratic family and raised to follow in their steps perfectly. He is good with paper work and running things but little more beyond that.
How would they use their abilities?: Mostly in the work place. Any sort of job that involves micromanagement or paperwork he will excel at.
Appearance: Hans is of an average height, he's not overly tall but not short either. He is thin has brown eyes and dusty brown hair. His features are rather effeminate and he is frequently mistaken as a girl because of it.
Background/Personality:
Hans is a very serious and shy individual. He gets very nervous when speaking to the public, as well as when he needs to meet up with his superiors, he also gets nervous to the point of stuttering when talking to girls, though Annie is an exception. He takes his work very seriously, and is always very thorough with it, even when he is uncomfortable he will continue to do his job with no complaint.
Hans is also very sheltered, having grown up rich and more or less having his life planned out ahead of him, he knows very little about simple things such as buying clothes. These short comings cause him to be embarrassed when people point them out and he can get very flustered when laughed at.
He's quick to get angry with those who do not take a situation seriously, but he is also very kind. He can be patient with people and work with them in hopes they will improve, but he may lose it and yell at them or hit them a few times while he works with them.

1st person sample:
Now that I have finished the required paperwork I am able to communicate with everyone else. It was rather excessive and overly complicated if I say myself. From what I understand everyone's world has been destroyed and we are all refuges upon a ship that flies from world to world. Now I know that there a higher chance that I am alone, but I still must ask if there is anyone else from the kingdom of Orde or Sera island. There is little I can offer, but as a government official it is my job to do what I can for the people of Orde.
[There's a small pause as he tries to think of what else to say. He's suppressing the panic he feels and trying to focus all his attention on the job he must do. He could be the only government official which meant he would be responsible for any civilians from Orde stuck on this ship.]
I am Hans Arlsens a royal administrator who was previously stationed at Sera Island for the development project. Though there is little I can do in this situation please allow me to do what I can for all of our citizens.
3rd person sample:
Despite the fact that Hans took great care to fill out his paperwork there were still errors he needed to correct. The third time around he was growing frustrated that each time he had to get back in line for minor little things that did not effect the information in any way. In fact he was pretty sure some of the things they insisted did nothing more than bog down what one would have to copy over. At this point he was quite sure the entire system was designed to frustrate not only the person filling out the paperwork but the people who had to file it as well. Still, he said nothing and kept it to himself. This was something he could deal with easily, he was a Royal Administrator after all, he was a government official top of his class. Even if he had some disagreeable with his father he was still a proud member of his family.
It was finally his turn again. When his number was called he walked over and placed his pile in front of the clerk with a sigh hoping this would be the last of it. This time it was and he was allowed to move on, his guide in one hand and his towel in the other. Why a towel though? Were they some kind of rare commodity on this strange ship? Were they rationed? It wasn't even a very good towel, it felt cheap and used.
"If towels are so important as to give them in such a situation perhaps I should find out how to gt a better one," for the one he had now he wasn't sure was even fit to dry a small animal with.
