Update 8.4634348983728
First, I am sooo happy that all of my grad stuff is done and all I have left is a writing prompt next friday, followed by an interview a week later. Which, of course, means I get to dress up!
Second, I totally rocked my midterm and first papers! Albeit, the midterm was easy...but to get 100% on both the paper and midterm is pretty sweet. Especially since the paper is 5 pages long and the midterm was 80 questions!
Third, I put in my 2 weeks notice last friday and feel so good about having put in about half a year at a job. I stuck it out at a place that sucked, made some friends, professional references, and learned a helluva lot about people who visit that theater. Now I just need to find a good place to start my substituting...
Fourth, I am happy to report that my family is doing well. Emily is about to turn 14 (scary!), Rachel has been accepted to Chico State and is hoping to get into Mills, and my parents are both in good health. As for my Mexican family (ha) things aren't so hot. Unfortunately they are experiencing some major downsides to the current state of our economy and it's beginning to take its toll. I admire Julio so much for everything that he does and can't thank him enough for the person he is.
Other than that, I have been really happy lately about most everything! Just trying to keep on top of things an stay school-focused...plus actually enjoy the time I have left, considering that I graduate in 44 days!!!!!! Holy shit!
