Winter-Invierno
It is overcast, sprinkling, and cool. Most beautiful time of the year for sure!
I am not very religious, nor very into the holiday season. But this year, something has touched me. I feel so connected and less lonely. Just hearing from someone far away, wanting to tell you they miss you. Or just to say 'hi' means so much.
I am so thankful for having such a fantastic year and I feel like I have accomplished so much!
-I am over halfway through my application process for grad school and have passed all my exams (spanish one pending...I find out next week!)
-I raised my GPA and finished all but 2 courses before graduation
-Got myself a job and actually was able to keep it for a good 4 months (and counting...but I wanna be the one to end it...not the company! I guess we'll see...)
-Met an amazing person who I actually feel closer to and really happy with almost a full 12 months later (and managed to love myself so much more than I ever have)
-Got much closer to my family than I have been in a long time
-Got rid of so-called frenemies, fakes, bitches, and all around annoying people in my life and made new, significant relationships with people who will be around beyond the drama
-Already have a job offer for when I graduate up in Sacramento (if nothing else...it's a promising look into the future!)
2007 was a really good year, and for all of these things...I am really thankful. And honestly happy :)
