A little cooler today, wasn't too bad. Working out on the big power-line areas where they've gone ahead and cleared out the strip of land, which they use to construct the power-lines, you see them everywhere. Sometimes, the area they cut goes through an old trail someone local made to run a truck or jeep back there for whatever reason, I assume hunting and stuff.
There is a ton of down time between pours (I test concrete), and I was pretty tired sitting on my duff, and feeling pretty good because the ZICAM for protecting me from my serious allergy problem, I decided to take a walk down this one trail. Half mile into the thick woods I had reached the end, passing beautiful clearings along the way. I forget how much I adore the woods, and to be that deep without fear of being seen...it was almost true privacy.
I love privacy too, just to know I have total freedom without the prying eyes of other human beings, or fear of being bothered, while the wind, whipping the pine, (which was evidence of the storm rolling in this evening), could muffle all the noise pollution of planes, tractors, and highways. I was cocooned in nature's vibrant energy and it felt good.
If the powers that be see fit that I have land, I shall be a good sheppard.
