Most Extensive Dream I've Ever Had! Part IV

Dec 01, 2009 20:58

At this point, I actually do wake up. I look around for a clock: 3:55 am, more sleep to go but could I pick up where i left off? Seldom I do, but tonight, I was on a mission!

~ Someone was talking...I can't quite make out what they are saying...

"She's down stairs somewhere"...."Funny, she's so different than the rest"...."Yeah, don't really know what she suppose to be"...."Think she'll find a cure?"....."Hope so, how long can we keep them here?"...."Shhhh....everyone is still asleep."

Slowly blink my eyes, nothing but dull grey and what looks like ceiling lights that are off..."where am I," mumbling. Looking around, everything blurry, what looks like computer monitors, a desk, and some boxes. The room appears to be made of glass, there are some other rooms with similar stuff in them...but a hammock? Something hanging out from the hammock, what appears to be some type of large cat tail. I suddenly remember, "is that one of my security team members" I think to myself, "I see we're alive, but how? Where the heck are we?"

Then I remember about the transformation! Slowly I raise what I think is my right arm, but there is a white paw of some type of animal, a black claw tips the end of each digit, black pads like that of a dog on the inside, but it's not quite animal, still appear to have use of a thumb. I quickly turn away, "it can't be, what have I become!?"

Looking around the larger area more, I notice a more well lit area. Sitting at a desk on the far wall appears to be a scientist of some sort working diligently on the computer, female woman in a white coat. Not caring to inspect myself anymore, I begin slowly shifting my body and feel the hammock that I was nestled in begin to sway a bit. Proping one leg over the the edge to climb out, I suddenly feel a strange sensation between my legs. I slowly looking down at my legs, and between the lime green medical scrubs I'm wearing is something rather furry, white fur peppered with grey and brown along the edges with a black tip...and moving!?

Slowly reaching down and grabbing this furry thing I confirm my worse fears, this thing is a part of my body...its a tail! Closing my eyes, igorning any more fightening revelations, I proceed to shift my body out of the hammock and slide onto the floor, almost ninja like on all fours. "The place smells very plastic, hospital like, but what kind of hospital is this?"

Shifting my weight again, I stand up straight, standing normally as I should, I proceed to what appears to be the glass door to this room. Placing my hand/paw on the door, I push it out and it seems to open...no alarm, and the woman at the desk continues to work. My thoughts continue to race, "I need to find out where in the hell we are, and what in the hell happened! If I can find what's-her-face, own leader that got us into this mess, I should get the answers I need. Better not disturb anyone if I can help it...better to sneak out and find out for myself."

The larger room was tight, the smaller glass cubicals appear to taking up the bulk of the area, only leaving a thin walkway to navigate though. The glass rooms were not set up in a row, they were set up more like a checkered board. But only six cubicals all together were set up in this room, each with hammocks hung across two of the walls of the cubical, with a deck with monitors, boxes, and such. Looking into each, there appeared to be something poking out of each hammock, a fox tail in one, feathers of a wing in another, a sandy colored cat paw, the large cat tail I saw earlier, more like that of a cheetah, and a long green lizard tail. I assume these are those I saved, still in some sort of human/animal form, all appear to be fast asleep.

There's a white door with an exit sign on the far wall, slowly working my way toward it, looking over my shoulder to see if I had been seen. Slowly turn the handle, open the door just enough to squeeze by....Ouch...my nose? From the feel of it, much longer than before. From the light coming from the other side I see my nose more clearly; short tan to white fur with black whiskers more toward the end near a black nose. "But this is no time for this!" as I shut the door. The stairwell behind is well lit and painted white, much brighter in contrast to the darkened room I was just in. More smells of hospital and something else. Proceeding again, causiously down the stairs, around a middle landing, to another door.

Opening the door, I see my other two counter parts lying in bed. I never got to see them transform but I know who's who. On one bed there lay what looks like a grey rhinocerous, but smaller than you would expect one to be, and more humanoid. This is the big black man. On the other bed, what looks like a wolf. Shivers run down my spine, feeling the strands of fur along my back bone rubbing against the shirt I'm wearing. He's dressed in the same lime green medical scrubs, but a dark wolf, markings of dark brown to lighter brown and tan toward his underside. "Is this what I am...is this why I queitly liked him so much?"

Looking around the room again, much of the same thing with more desks and computers, as well as someone working at a computer, not really paying attention to my presence. I turn back out the door into the stairwell.

(TO BE CONTINUED>>>) Oh...sorry for the long posts, one more, I sware!
