We're LEAVIN' on a JET PLANE!
Berwald grinned as he dragged all sleeping inhabitants of his household into the living room. Beside him was a sweet looking old lady.
"This is our pet-sitter, Mrs. Giovanni, she'll baby-sit while we're away so Hana and Wiggins will be well looked after." He began as everyone blinked sleepy-eyed and Mrs. Giovanni just sat to start playing with an excited Hana.
He then held up a Bag. "This is all the luggage we need. Basic toiletries. Everything else, including clothes will be waiting for us at our destination." Berwald grinned devilishly as a large mini-van shuttle pulled up in front of the house to take them to the airport.
Berwald had even charted a private Jet to take them IN STYLE to their destination.
Once everyone boarded the plane, Berwald passed out dossiers to everyone.
"This is where we are going.... My Viking Horde... plus one misplaced Teutonic Knight I suppose." Berwald chuckled as everyone learned where they were going to be living for the next THREE WEEKS.
They were going back in TIME.... Literally.
To the most Primitive "Hotel resort" in the world.
At Sweden's STF Kolarbyn neither electricity nor running water would disturb the wilderness experience. they were going to happily fall asleep in front of the crackling fireplace and awake to beautiful bird song.
They would be living a real life "LARP" in a way. They would be living in huts and cabins, hunting moose and deer and fishing, sword fighting, bonfires, eating what they killed or gathered, washing in clear streams and lakes, wearing furs and tunics, chopping wood, rowing boats, the floating SAUNA (Tino would love that!), Hiking, a flora and fauna trek with an herbal forest master (Siguard would LOVE that!), a Survival course, and the "Troll family adventure" which included dancing under the moon in the forest, listening to whispering trees and seeking the giant trolls in the wood. (It was a Family adventure that Berwald was POSITIVE Siguard would make them all participate in.)
The only thing they had to watch out for were the very real, very wild wolves in the forest. But they would not be entirely ALONE. They would have very trained staff with them to guide them.
Berwald had rented the ENTIRE RESORT for their exclusive use for the next three weeks. He included in the dossier pictures and descriptions of all the activities they could partake in (And if they utterly failed as "hunters", there was a town three miles away they could walk to for dinner and indoor toilets.)

The forests of Bergslagen
Berwald waited for reactions as he watched everyone read the paperwork in their hands.... He hoped they would enjoy the experience as much as he hoped everyone would. He had not told any of them what he plans had been, he had wanted it to be a surprise.
Now he held his breath waiting for someone to "react" first....
