Community: S3E14 Reaction Post
Okay, so I know I haven't written anything about several of the last episodes but, honestly, most of the reactions I felt the needs to get out into words were about J/A and it just wasn't doing it for me lately. I wasn't feeling any genuine progress for their relationship and I was being slightly offended at the stuff they were throwing us, like the shippers needed to be placated while the actual fans for the J/B they deserved.
BUT.
Omg, today's episode was SO GOOD. SO GOOD. Like, favorite episode, perfect group-dynamic, excellent character chemistry, amazing plot, sweetest ending, flail-worthy J/A interactions, kind of good. I can't even really put into words how much I love this episode except that I wish I were watching it right now instead of just writing about it. Everything in it was just so good.
And the J/A! They were so sweet, especially Jeff. It's like... Jeff had two days off. He doesn't have to worry about school or homework or going to crappy classes, he just has to keep the war going as long as it possible will. It's like Jeff's perfect two days and how does he spend it? Texting Annie. And worrying over whether she's mad at him. And then taking her advice to help his friends. And then taking her advice again to sort his feelings out. So fucking sweet, this was just such a good episode for them. For everything, tho, really. It was a great ensemble piece and I loved every second of it!!! Birthday cake, birthday cake, unicorn, woman's shoe.
