Website Update and New dS Fic
Hi Guys!
Ximeria has been an utter star and spent her weekend patiently updating my website. I don't think there are enough maple syrup cookies in the world to thank her for all the time and effort she puts in for me. But I will see her in person next month, so I think inappropriate kisses are definitely on the menu!
One of the stories she has uploaded is my most recent due South fic, Break Step On Two which has taken years to complete. It has been picked up, put down, forgotten, rediscovered, tweaked and left to languish. Poor little fic! I must have started it two or three years ago, and it reads like something I would have written back then too! Very 'old school'. I think it may have been for the ds flashfic dancing challenge originally. Anyway, it took
ficfinishing to finally get the thing ready for beta. Special thanks have to go to
waltzforanight and
rassoula for their cheer leading, to
nos4a2no9 for inspiration and advice and most of all to
aukestrel who did beta duties in her usual capable, ever generous fashion.

In other news, my life is still mental and, with SIX days to go, I'm still working on my j/d ficathon story - and by working, I mean tearing out my hair and vowing never to sign up to anything ever again. Pretty much your standard Berty response to any deadline. *shrugs*
