Hi Everyone.
I just saw that this news went public today and thought I'd offer you all a little peace of mind.
The next writer I believe will be with the Birds long term. I also think you'll be pretty happy with who it is. They've been developing the ideas that Sean has started in the current arc and I've already read their first two scripts.
You're in safe hands.
I am really sad to see Sean leave though. His five issue arc has some incredible moments and gives characters, who haven't yet had much development time, space to be fleshed out. You guys are only two issues in! There's so much action and detectivey goodness yet to go.
I'm just finishing up on the art for Sean's last issue (#117) which brings everything full circle from his first and sets up the major direction of the Birds future.
I really hope you'll all stick around!
