Well, of all the bally nerve! 'Darling,' 'dear heart'- I feel like I've been spending too much time hanging around La Bassett- all gawd-help-us soppy and... ugh! It's enough to make a chap shudder, what? I mean, I suppose the fellow's entitled to a filly if he wants one, but... dash it all! I mean to say, this is the first I've ever heard of the beazel. I'm sure she's a charming girl, but it's the principle of the thing, you understand. Seeing that post, I daresay I felt like nothing so much as a minor prophet who'd received a buffet 'round the ear with a stuffed eel-skin.
