(In reality it was a very awkward, unnerving occurence (that was all about running into Karl on the subway, btw), but not without some kind of cinematic tension--so I did what I always do and wrote it down to make myself feel better.) But what I really came here to say is that I've been thinking of you these past few days, and I miss you and hope that everything is wonderful in Europe and that you're not getting into *too* much trouble with any firemen... particularly married Italian ones. ;)
Haha. No, no married Italian firemen this time... just some Aussie twins... actually, that's who I went to Zurich to see. So yeah I'm seriously having a blast. But at the moment I'm having a crisis as I realized that I am leaving Saturday morning and I still have so many things I wanted to do! eek! I still have yet to climb the tower! crazy, right? I hope you are doing well too and I miss you tons! And about your writing, I just finished reading the Virgin Suicides and it was so beautiful. Your little prose, that's probably not the right word to describe it but whatever, reminded me of it. I met an author on the train coming back from Zurich actually, and she's kind of inspired me to write some. I just hope it's as nice as yours. Muah!
