So are you deleting your journal, or just letting this one be inactive?

I don't quite understand all that's going on here, but it doesn't sound good. However, can you not just overlook what you want to see? Or is it going to be forced down our throats?

I'm probably leaving it here so I can comment (I'm planning on watching those who stay through RSS feeds), not sure what I'm doing with my entries yet. Either making them all friends-only or deleting them if I can migrate them all with the comments ( ... )

/me open mouth kisses you for this comment.

Pretty much everything that has been on my mind since reading that fucking shit post (and I just read Brad's lame attempt to smooth everything over... wow). I keep waiting for them to announce that this is a joke, and they were actually doing a new-age reinterpretation of Animal Farm.

I missed a whole bunch of stuff that pisses me off, too. Like the latest claim that they'll never take an active user's name if a corporation asks for it unless the user agrees to it. So, I guess it'll go this way, instead: User has name company wants. Company reports user to abuse for having a username that infringes on their trademark. LJ informs user they must rename or be permanently suspended, in which case the account will be purged and given to the company. Sound about right?

Actually, I disagree with that suggestion. I can't imagine LJ Abuse doing anything like that.

Oh, you're right. They wouldn't mention anything to the user first. ;-)
