some people have a lot of nerve
just wanted to let everyone know that today i found out that i'm referred to as "someone like you". this statement came from some college guy at work who believes that his job is beneath him, you know the same job i do. this guy skipped work because he had a volleyball tournament and then got suspended from work for a week. he thought it was important to explain to me how much he didn't care because he didn't even need the job because he's close to graduating and has two job offers that will pay him big bucks, he also felt it was necessary to explain that he could understand how "someone like me" doesn't skip work or have other things more important than that crappy little job because i don't have anything better going on. i wonder if he meant exactly what i thought he meant, like i'm not privileged or educated. i'm kind of pissed off!
